Tablets of The Covenant
Scripture reading: Hebrews 9:3-4 Exodus 25:21 The third article in a coffer of acacia wood encased inside and out with gold. It is very important that both the inside and the outside of the vessel that is a carrier of the Word have the nature (gold) of Jesus Christ. HERE WERE THE LAWS OF GOD WHO HAD DELIVERED THEM FROM BONDAGE. This was the most revered article in the Ark of the Covenant. When Jesus took His disciples up on a mountain and taught them the LAW OF THE SPIRIT OF LIFE IN HIM, He dealt with the soulish man and brought the law of life into our thought process, not just our actions. Oh, My! and some are teaching we are delivered from these commandments in stone. Brethren they are written in our mind and hearts and we are given weapons of spiritual warfare to tear down strongholds in these areas.
Word: The only thing God puts above His name (Psalms 138:2), Word: Which God says in, The power of the King is his word (Ecc.8:4) Word : King rules by power. (Psalms 66:7) Word: shown to Jacob (Psalms 147:19) Word: sent INTO Jacob (Isa. 9:8) lighted Israel Why is this important? Let us examine Jacob and the Word. JACOB: Supplanter: Supplanter simply stated is a superior that replaces an inferior. Purchased Birthright: He did NOT steal it...He bought it, just as Jesus purchased our birthright we had given to satan. He wore the garment of Esau, the firstborn and received the father's blessing. Why Jesus clothed Himself in flesh of first Adam and obtained the blessing of our Heavenly Father for us. On his journey to Babylon, Jacob rested his head on a stone. There he was given a vision of a ladder (step by step way to God). He renamed Luz > BETHEL (House of God). When God reveals Himself to us, we are His House. He built an altar and worshiped. Then he purchased two wives which represents the Jewish and Gentile bride of God. Leah had a vision problem ( which speaks of the veil of blindness on the Jewish nation). Rachel the younger sister speaks of the Gentile bride. She bore only two sons Joseph which means fruitful bough and Benjamin which means son of right hand. This is indicative of the Gentile dispensation, which received the commission " Go Ye" and the promise to be seated with Him in His throne. Being blessed by God, he began his journey back to land of promise. His father-in-law chased him but God said DO NOT HARM JACOB. Esau his first born brother comes toward him with many servants..., Jacob prayed. A Man came and wrestled all night and He changed his name and walk. His New Name is Israel..., He Leaned on STAFF (represents WORD) rest of his life, then at (Peniel - Face of God) by brook JABBOK (poured out as fruitful vine) where he SAW TOUCHED CHANGED Came again to Bethel- Built Altar called (EL BETHEL) God here in His House. Leah died and was buried in Mamre with Abraham and Sarah, and Rachel died and was buried between Bethel and Bethlehem. Oh Thou Bethlehem of Ephrata out of thee will come the ruler of my people. House of Bread..., Shouting Ground! Then he pitched his tent at Tower of Edar (Tower of the Flock). Bethel and Bethlehem 7 miles apart. Read (1 Peter 1/23) Word is Seed...Mary In Nazareth of Galilee (Light to nations) Isa. 9:1. Our Spirit is home of Seed - it lights our soulish realm This Covenant Law had 10 rules THOU SHALT NOT: Have any gods before me. Have Any graven (carved) images. Take name of God in vain (Jesus). Work on Sabbath must be kept Holy. Dishonor parents. Kill, Adultery, Steal, False witness against others, and Covet. Read Matthew 5 at home and see how Jesus (Our Redeemer and deliverer) taught us these in the law of Spirit and Life. First covenant deliverer went to God alone for tablets of stone...Our Deliverer brought His followers up on the mountain and gave all the Law of Spirit and promised to write them in heart and mind.. WORD the prophet found and ate (Ezek. 3:1-3, 8-10) and it was joy and rejoicing. John in (Rev. 10:9-11) ate the book then He could carry Word to nations. Jeremiah called to speak word in mother's womb Chap 5:14 God put His Word in Jer. mouth as fire. Then Ch. 20: 9 Couldn't stop speaking Word... in His heart and as a fire shut up in his bones. WORD DOES THE WORK speak God's word into any situation you encounter and LET it do the work...praise God. Are we Botanist, Butterfly or Bee Study and learn all about even teach about (botanist) Flit from truth to truth (any blooming plant) like lovely butterfly eating a bite here and a bite there Busily go into the plants flower and gather the ingredients for food and carry it into OUR house to be a part of our house and furnish us with food IN OUR HOUSE-Bee
the WORD in (John 1:1) the WORD OF LIFE in (1 John 1:1) the WORD OF GOD in (Rev. 19:6) These all point to Ark of Covenant Word..., the Word of God became flesh and tabernacled himself among us (John1:14). Now God writes his laws on our hearts and inscribes them in our minds, by His Spirit (Rom. 8:4 Ezek. 36:25-28), providing WE WALK in the Spirit. THIS is the reason Holy Ghost is given (John 14 & Heb. 8:10-12). When Christ is our life (Col. 3:4) and we walk IN Him and HE IS FORMED IN US (Gal.4:19) we have this same Tablets of the Covenant (Testimony) in us.
